@UnitedPonys this isnt tightlines. the false cast is used to get momentum in your cast to cast far enough to where you want or u can do it to target exactly where you want to land your fly
-
thanks great tips

What are you doing with your left hand as you cast? It seems you are pulling the line on your forward cast?
-
when your timing is off your line on the backcast will making a "snap" sound when your forward motion is too early

Thanks for this video! It has helped me out alot!

So when you pull the string from the reel to make it longer(because it seems loose), so that you can loop it further, what happens if you got a bite? Would you just reel it in? Srries I'm new to this,

Good, vid.. but should the cord hit the water behind you? when you are using your forarm to throw backward?

THANK YOU!!! Helped me very much! i just started fly fishing this year. I was lucky enough to catch my very first rainbow and brown on my first day of fly fishing.

Thank you very much for these great videos, I'm new to the sport and this will help me learn the best technique for casting the fly...
Can the techniques shown in this video be used with a two-handed fly rod the same as on a single-handed rod, or are different skills required?

Unfortunately the techniques are different. A true two-handed rod is designed to actually spey cast or skagit cast with and not ideally suited for overhand casting. Hope that helps.
