Great clip - count me in the group that didn't know that this race was almost won by Mears (my fav). I think Dean Hall can get some blame but I think Randy Lewis should get a ton of it for running over Dean's car to start the wreck.

man all this time i never knew Mears was leading that late in the going at this event. another one lost, oh well at least he went on to win Indy & the Marlboro 500 that season, the years two biggest races...
