Saturday 9/12/09. First qualifying run at Pinks All Out.
Just a little turbo lag at the start. Not to worry. Began reeling him in after the 330" mark.
Yep. Got him at the finish line with plenty to spare.
The start of this run was on a pro light with absolutely no turbocharger pre-spooling before the launch. The engine was brought up to 2400 rpm after staging, which happened to be the stall speed of a very tight torque converter. Anyone that has had to spool a very large turbocharger with a very small engine can appreciate the significance of this run.
224 cid V6, 91mm FI91X (B/W Airwerks S510/91).
Boost really didn't start to build until well after the 60 ft. mark.
The boost level maxed at 27.1 psi on this run.
You need another camera person. Nice run!

We're going to try some very intense boot camp style training first.
