Virtual juggling with the kinect sensor. Uses the openNI library to track hand locations allowing ball to be thrown around the screen.

If you have a kinect sensor download the project and have a play.

The c++ code is stashed here:
kinect-juggle.googlecode.com

Please also check out the insipration for this project, the excellent Kinect Kamehameha: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lajP7HO7ZyE

  • Hey man!is it possible that you tell me how do u track the hand Y axis velocity?

  • @lamelamelol Hi there, sorry I missed this before. I keep track of the hand movements over time and then take the difference between readings to get velocity and acceleration vectors. Have a look at the particle data class in the google code project.

  • Thanks, I'm glad you approve!

And the tune: Kid Koala - Drunk Trumpet (Live at The Metro, Chicago)
