My husband and I just got new digital cameras and decided go on a camera safari. It was a beautiful Sunday in late April, 2007. We went to Mt. Hope Cemetery, which is a beautiful place. http://www.fomh.org/. We walked for hours, surrounded by joggers, walkers and bounding dogs. Afterwards, we walked across the street to The Distillery for draft beers and chipotle wings.

  • I used to go there in the 1950's. It was very beautiful and serene.

  • why are there shoes on the grave?

  • wait til you see surrounding area like Jamaica avenue ..urrgh, looks so run down, poverty area.

  • That cemetary is massive. I used to go to the University of Rochester and would go there all the time.

  • I was there June of 2007. Most beautiful cemetery I have ever seen. We were there for 3 hours and didnt see it all. I cant wait to go back. I fell in love with new york.

  • I like how you arranged the pictures of graves so that they corresponded to the changes in music. Beautiful video!

  • Nice job! Mt. Hope always had good photo opportunities.

  • Lovely, out of death comes life. Daffodils bloom on a grave.
