Leather Watch Strap Care, Old No.7 and Deployant Clasps are good combination of products that saves money over time on high end watches.

  • What about the INSIDE of the watchstrap? It's gets lots of sweat and stuff on it from normal wear. What's the best way to clean it?

    Thanks.

  • @mjchapman44 saddle soap is what I use but it has to be a water resistant leather strap....

Thanks...I have found that the problem with leather straps is that they crack from the inside, rather than the outside. Usually the inside is made of a thinner leather than the outside so I was wondering if you, or others, have found a way to keep the inside supple enough to withstand the cracking from the perspiration etc.

  • @mjchapman44 Your skin is acidic more than other peoples. It is a genetic thing....

Hadley Roma has a line of metalic braclets for watches that can be switched out on most watches. I would be glad to help you get info on them if you think that is a direction you would take....
