actually it can. But not as perfectly as the Flanker nevermind the Super flanker and next generation Su-47 'Berkut' witht the forward swept wing. I've seen the F-22 Raptor at numerous air demonstrations even though i am Canadian, an the F-22 may be very very extremely powerful, but Russia will kick the USA's butt in aircraft development every time

"NO MORE DOD FIGHT" some said! men !!! they need to look back and learn some deadly lession in Vietnam !!! When some military genus said that 'the day of the dog fight' was over!!! hahaha !!! and the deadly joke was on them. F4 Phantom without gun were shot down over Hanoi so fast( when those "hightech" missile fail to lock on) that pilots had to install some kind of gun on their planes! Let's be honest, a 9.7 G turn is impressive on any plane.

Until your enemy blats you with a missile from 30 miles away. Surely the better plane is the one that can find it's enemy and dispatch it unseen, not which one can out dog fight the other?

We seem to be in a post dog fight age. Boring, but that's life for you :(

it never did and no the su 37 was just an expermental aircraft it was just to show the world what there capable of

the f22 can pull a 8.5 g turn the su 37 can pull an 11 g turn and the su 35 is still better cause that can pull a 9.7 g turn

How do you that if it never faced the F-22?

And was this cancelled? I thought they were only building a small number due to Russia wanting to spend more on nuclear weapons and subs?
