@Thebatterside How much does it tend to run per blade?
-
@Nuchuga Without heat treatment the metal will be too soft to hold an edge through any type of real cutting. You can heat treat certain steels (O1, W1, 5160, high-carbon steels mostly) yourself. If you are using a stainless steel like Gavkoo, it's best to have a professional do it. Also, if you have a professional heat teat done, it's a good idea to have more than one done at a time, because it will cost the same as just one blade.

@gavkoo so what exactly would happen to the knife if you did not do that

@gavkoo Oooops, sorry. Got the impression that you were in Slovakia. Either way, great vidz man!

Hi, love your videos man! I've been looking for a beltsander like the one you're using in this video, but they are all 110V and like you, I live in Europe and need one which is 220V. Are you using a power converter or is your beltsander 220V? If so, where did you get it? I can't find anything cheap in Europe which fits the bill like yours does.

how long does it take you to make a knife
schulhoff18 1 month ago
@schulhoff18 it depends on how big and how complicated handle. but i guess average complete knife with the sheath is somewhere between 8-10 hours
