A number of the NBC studio personnel had a long night (and flight) as they had been in Tempe Arizona the night before for the Fiesta Bowl and flew back to east for the early game on Saturday. Criqui and Trumpy had an extra day to fly as they were in Miami on Thursday night(New Years Day) for the Orange Bowl

@jaypercy78 The new stadium will be just as electric as the old when the Browns start winning again. Granted CBS doesn't have the personality of Municipal, but this town will go nuts the year the Browns find their bearings.

It still makes me sick to even think about this game. I know the Browns have had their own woes, and have put their fans through a ton of crap, but this 1986 season really epitomizes what being a Jet fan is all about. I've been a die hard fan since 1981, and this particular year really hurt, especially after the 10-1 start. I'd say it's pretty hard to start 10-1 and not even win your own division...

This clip embodies everything that was so awesome about being a Browns fan in the '80s. If you don't get goosebumps watching this you're already dead.
That old stadium was ELECTRIC. The new place will never be like it. And can I say that the broadcasting was much more dramatic then. Better music, and much better announcing.
