Demi: so what kind of trouble do you think your cousin will get into this year?
Miley: psh beats me, thats why her nickname is trouble! But whatever it is ill probably have to bail her out. Cause we all know how my aunt is. miley said putting and emphasis on the last sentence. Selena never got into any real trouble. The nickname just fit her. She was kind of rebellious because of the way her mom had always treated her. Her mom had always sheltered Selena from anything and not to mention blew everything way out of proportion.
Demi: ya your aunt scares me she said truthfully
Miley: who doesnt she scare? miley said pushing her way through the front doors of their school. so what kind of drama do you think our group will have this year? miley asked knowing what demis answer would be.
Demi: who knows! But I can guarantee one thing. Itll defiantly involve Taylor and her boy drama she answered rolling her eyes. Miley laughed knowing that Taylor always brought drama to the table. She knew that Demi was right. And who would have to be the one to solve all the drama? Miley, she was always the mediator in the group. She was like the female version of Dr. Phil. Miley had never known where she had gotten her wisdom from. If that was even the right word. She always knew the right things to say, she had the best advice anyone could ever offer. Even though half the time she never really went through all the things that her friends were experiencing. She just knew how to put herself in their shoes and she would explain how she would handle it. Or better yet how she should handle it. She might have been great at giving advice but she was horrible at taking her own advice. That was always frustrating for Miley, but she figured in time she would eventually figure it all out. After all she was only 17, she had a lot of learning to do.
The first bell rang and it sent everyone into a frenzy. Rushing to their lockers and to their classes. Miley was never one to rush, obviously. She felt Demi unlink her arm from hers.
Demi: hey miles ill see you in second period. Demi said as she walked off. Miley shook her head at Demis faced paced walk, as if she was going to be late, and her class was right down the hall.
Taylor: miley! she heard someone yell from across the hall. She turned around to see her Taylor running up to her. They hadnt seen each other all summer.
Miley: Taylor! She yelled as loud as she could with as much enthusiasm as possible. They both greeted each other with big hugs just like always.
Taylor: omg miley! Guess who im talking to again?! taylor expressed excitedly.
Miley: hmm let me guess liam or jake? miley said only half annoyed. She had grown tired of taylor bouncing back and forth between the two best friends for the past 8 months. It was all old news to her and she was tired of the constant complaining from her and especially from liam. But she always managed to act as if she was excited only to avoid conflict within the group. Dont get Miley wrong, she loved Taylor. Taylor was always the one to make everyone laugh, although Taylor was a little high maintenance but never the less she always knew how to bring you up when you were down, and she was the best at impersonating someone.
Taylor: Psh me and Jake have been over for a while. Im talking to Liam again! Taylor had expressed jumping up and down like a kid in a candy store.
Miley: so how long with it last this time until you get board with him? Miley said trying not to sound rude, but it didnt come out as nicely as she had wanted it to. Obviously Taylor didnt catch on.
Taylor: no I think this time ill stick it out. She said calming herself
Miley: thats what you said the last 4 times. Miley said laughing, still trying to hide the fact that she was annoyed. The second bell rang signaling that they only had about a minute to get to class.
