@charbyteU The best part about a self-made man who is willing to spend his own money on a campaign is that he isn't beholden to any special interest group!!!! That is invaluable. What you see as "buying his way into office" is really that the other guy is being bought by special interest groups and will owe them favors. That is NOT good for Michigan or the country.

@charbyteU Based on his record he is a decent public speaker (so is obama so that isn't saying much) However, having Michigan's best interests isn't so apparent. It appears that he is just trying to save his job. He hasn't done much for Michigan, so it is time to give someone who has proven to create jobs, and earn for the shareholders a chance. He will do the same for Michigan as he did in the private sector. The auto industry has not been "saved". They have not changed a thing.

@ladylordess That's because Mr.Bernero is an experienced public speaker representing Michigan's best interests when America was on the brink of Depression. Bernero saved the auto industry by getting angry in Washington fighting for a bailout. Imagine what the country would be suffering had he not spoken out.

Snyder's going to hurt small business in Michigan by raising the MBT from 1.8% to 6% as a flat tax....so big business wins and once again the little guy gets shafted. Snyder's buying his way into office with his 500 million whereas Bernero only has 30 million in his war chest proving that American public office is for $ale. Isn't money the root of all evil?

Bernero is a decent public speaker, but he didn't do well in this debate. Snyder is what is best for Michigan now.
