If I remember right, this song also was a "biggie" in vaudville but the arrangement would not have the steel guitar. Excellent post!

This was born in the twenties but it was revived in the late 40's and early 50's. I danced and roller skated to this many a times in HS, Made a great jitterbug dance.

I never hear an actual recording of this song until now. I'm 27, my father is in his late 60's. He used to play and sing this on the piano when I was a child. None of my peers ever understood when I'd start humming/singing this song. Now I've heard the real-deal...This is awesome!

My mom liked the song because she is 5ft 2 eyes of blue. She is 82 now and I emailed her the video.
