A report on causes of the recent global financial crisis has sparked anger over the authors of the meltdown. The document released by a US investigative commission, points finger at the country's economic elite. But, as RT's Lauren Lyster reports, previous experience showed those responsible are likely to go unpunished.

  • If you are called "Russia Today", why don't you say something about Russia today than. Everyone knows about American problems, enlighten us about Russian problems, please. I don't think the situation there is much different, than in US, after all Russian oligarchs keep their money in US banks and invest and play in US stock market. Your soviet style propaganda would work much better, if you would tell the truth about Russian affairs as well.

  • @cleetus5555555 At least We have, had guys like Grayson, Weiner and Sanders. On the Right, you have nobody thats for the worker.

  • 0:19 this is what your supporting and 0:49 this is what it does to the people that really needed it (lady taking can from trash). Welfare needs to be restructured so it doesn't encourage dependence and limited so the truly incapable/unwilling can be eliminated from the gene pool. The weak, stupid and lazy will simply starve to death. Let them. Before I get all the bleeding hearts on here asking if it was my kid/mom/..* would i still think the same; yes, do not let the cancer perpetuate itself.

  • The entire economic system needs to be changed, thats how i feel.

  • There is a budget deficit and the jobs are still being cut, and homes repossessed. Why don't the government look for trillions of dollars stolen from all over the world in the banksters and their helpers rear pockets. Some good money were found afterwards in Madoff's pockets after all.

  • @bradleybear27 The Discourses on Livy by Niccolo Machiavelli. No phenomena has happened that hasn't already happened, occasionally, only with analogous properties. Despite what people say, I believe my country to have been manifested into a monstrous empire, and it will fall just like every other empire that preceded it. I love my country, but I hate my government. Peace everyone, be safe during the Fall! We are all in this together, as humans. "Man is born free; and everywhere he is in chains."

  • If you stuff enough money into the pockets of Democrats and Republicans on Capitol Hill, you will get what you want. The revolving door between lobbyists representing corporations and our so-called representatives makes whores out of all of them. They are in bed with the very ones they are supposed regulate, and have caught the STD of greed, and avarice from these CEO's. All of these so-called watchdog agencies are so corrupted by influence peddling that they function as accessories in crime.
