When I heard this song, I originally thought it was a big black lady singing.

@Bing1ling -- Always a treat to see Daniel play. I saw black Dub at the Troubador in Oct 2009. Fantastic.
As to the gearhead comment... I''ve seen the same. Funny thing is, while his gear changes a bit here and there... the main thing is a good guitar, his amp and his approach to the instrument. He doens't use a pick but he can get from a whisper to a scream with his thumb and fingers. Emotion flows through Daniel. That is what some seem to miss.
