Check it out, this car has a turbocharged 225 slant six under the bonnet.
Filmed at 2005 Sydney Car Festival this burnout was good enough to win the six cylinder class against some tough competition.

Actually the slant 6 leans over at 30 degree's so it fits under the hood without a bonnet bulge or other modifications.

There is only one bank of cylinders in a slant six.

@peyotero22 there were "hemi" strait 6's in Australia and Argentina. not a real hemi though just a strait six, but no hemi slant 6. "hemi" refers to the shape of the hemispherical combustion chamber or half circle. this shape allowed more room for the valves that were apposed to one another instead of next to each other. it also helped unshield the valves, and by angling the valves in the direction of the ports allowed for better flow in the head. search "hemi head cutaway"
