This is a video showing how a tesla coils RF energy transfers into surrounding metal objects and creates electrical currents.

My goal is to build a device that will turn that electrical current into useable household electricity,I will do that by:

Building a device that will turn the electricity into a DC current and then build an inverter that will take that voltage and turn it into 120 VAC at 60 hz,wish me luck.

  • You're too stupid to do what you are planing. Why do you need 120VAC? Many devices uses way lower voltage, so just make the voltage you need. And keep in mind that the hardest part will be to make it efficient and safe. Can you imagine what is going on in the mobile phone in your pocket? There are a lot of hosehold devices which are sensitive to electric field created by your Tesla coil. Tesla was a total genius, but he haven't imagined about digital electronicks and high power consumption.

  • @RICHARDakaCHUCK You feel like a big man insulting a 16 year old? (at the time) It's just a general idea for fun, I may of went overboard with what I said. The idea is just a neat concept so lay off douchebag -.-

  • you may be the one to make things wireless so keep up the good work

  • @MrGears740 Thanks (:

  • Everybody Be@Peace! and keep up the good work towards the good goals. And, yes of course, we all have much to explore and anything is possible with our wonderful world of great ideas, concepts and insightful inventions. Peace! ;^)

  • @tesladude19 Jeez, Tesladude19, you did the same thing to me. im 10

  • @tesladude19 Cool Tesla coil, and much respect young man. ALSO, the electricity from a tesla coil is FAR safer than 60hz AC, FAR safer on people and electronics, the reason electronics only last so many years is because of 60hz AC, if it were higher frequency electricity the devices would run much cooler and last longer. I've heard a "proper" frequency for Tesla coils would be 2000hz, which is so much safer than 60Hz. I hope to build a big Tesla coil on my property for some cool experiments.

  • Have you guys ever herd of the rodin coil!!??

  • @RICHARDakaCHUCK

your an ass and just leave him alone and let him do his thing. He's amazing at it and I can honestly say that your opinion doesn't friggin matter. So why dont you go back to sucking your mommies tits and leave the kid alone. K thanks buh bye now(:

  • @tesladude19 P.P.S. If you want to collect energy from your TC more efficiently, you need to build another such coil, only without primary and all the drivers. Only topload, or special antenna and secondary coil, with the same resonant frequency as your Tesal coil transmitter. Because your can is collecting only electric field around your coil and my mentioned receiver would collect electric field + radio signal. Tesla coil is basically a high power radio transmitter. Sorry for my english...

  • @tesladude19 Oh, we are so sensitive... I haven't looked for your age and I'm not much older. probably I need to think twice, before writing, but you was fantasizeing... Your goal is what Tesla dreamed of all his life and he was a great scientist, genius. So keep that in mind, unless your are going to spend all your life to achieve your goal. If so, then I need to apologise... If not, then just become more serious...

  • Dude, chill
