"Toshimaen Cyclone Roller Coaster - 1990"

Riding the "Cyclone" (with the cars appearing like logs) roller coaster at Toshimaen Amusement Park in Tokyo in September 1990. The park was a bit more popular in 1990 than it is now, what with fewer young people in the country (lower birth rate) and more home entertainment, etc.

It looks like it's a great ride.

I didn't realize Japan had a lower birth rate. That's great. Wish folks here would consider not having so many kids.

There are discussions about it in the media, since there are fewer people paying into pension plans, fewer people paying taxes, etc. This is a difficult transition period, since there are a lot of older people receiving pensions, but fewer people paying for pensions.... - LHS

I think low birthrate is actually a good thing with the current economy and all... although the next generation might reverse that and GO FOR IT! (If history has anything to say about it) XD
