The Eternal World Drama is cyclical and repeats itself identically every 5000 years. A cycle consists of four equal ages of 1250 years each, namely golden (satyug), silver (treta), copper (dwapar) and iron (kaliyug). At the end of kaliyug, there is a small period called the confluence age and referred in the Gita as "purushottam sangam yuga". This is the only time in a cycle or kalpa that the Creator incarnates. He descends on earth when irreligiousness and unrighteousness prevails as stated in the Gita. When he descends, he reveals the history of the world cycle also known as the Kalpa Tree, the World Tree or the World Genealogical Tree. The seed of the Kalpa Tree is the Creator, God Shiva himself, whose abode is in the highest region called Paramdham. God Shiva incarnated into Brahma who assisted in the establishment of the new world order called Heaven or Paradise and known as the age of Satyug. The roots of the kalpa tree are the mouth born progenies of Brahma called the Brahmins. In the ages of Satyug and Treta, there is one government, one kingdom, one religion and one language. The kingdom is ruled by the Deities and the universal religion is called the Original Ancient Deity Religion (Adi Sanatan Devi Devta Dharma) which is the first and oldest religion of the world. Here complete purity, peace and prosperity prevailed on earth. There is complete non-violence such that even the lion and the cow drink from the same trough. India in those days was called Bharat, the "Golden Sparrow". This period is also referred to as Ram Rajya or the Kingdom of Rama.
The next two ages of copper and iron, also known as the dark ages, brought many religions, many languages and the vices of anger, greed, ego, lust and attachment. Man had then undergone several births and had forgotten the original "self" and became body-conscious from soul-conscious. A number of other religions started appearing which are shown as the branches of the Kalpa Tree. From time to time, pure elevated souls came down to establish religion. The prophet souls who descended on earth are Abraham, the founder of Spiritual Law and the Judaic religion. Then came Buddha, the founder of Buddhism, Christ, the founder of Christianity, Mohammed, the founder of the Muslim religion and Shankaracharya, the founder of the Sanyasis.
The Hindu religion has its roots from the Deity religion and its founder can be considered as Shiva, through Brahma. In the end of kaliyug, there would be innumerable fragmentation of the major religions that make up the many branches and twigs of the full-grown kalpa tree. At this time there will be many religions, many kingdoms, many ruling dynasties and many languages. The subjects would be ruling the subjects and royal crowns would become as royal clowns. Harmony and Peace are shattered and turns into disharmony and chaos. This leads to wanton strife, disunity and conflicts which later turn into wars, accompanied with pestilence and natural calamities. Irreligiousness and unrighteousness would prevail and we would then return to the confluence period and the descent and incarnation of the Supreme once more, the end of another cycle. The "swastika" and the "wheel" are further evidence of the world eternal drama that is cyclical and repeats itself identically every 5000 years. The swastika shows the four equal ages and reflects the declining purity. The wheel represents the eternal drama without beginning and without end.
Having explained the eternal world drama, Lord Krishna's identity and birth will now be placed in perspective. The descent of God Shiva at the confluence age is celebrated as Maha Shivratri or the birthday of Lord Shiva. The other major festivals of Holi, Gita Jayanti, Nau Ratum and Raksha Bandhan are other confluence age activities that form part of the purification process to re-create Satyuga. Raksha Bandhan is the final vow of purity in preparation of the birth of Lord Krishna. Krishna Janamastami, is celebrated seven days after Raksha Bandhan. Lord Krishna is the first Prince of Satyug and Radha is the first Princess of the same era. Divali is the celebration of the coronation of Lakshmi and Narayan as the first Empress and Emperor of Satyug. The childhood days of Lakshmi and Narayan are those of Radha and Krishna.
Lakshmi and Narayan are the Emperor and Empress of the Golden Age. In their childhood, they will be Radhe and Krishna. Such an elevated reward must definitely have been given to them by the Creator of Heaven. In Heaven, there'll be constant happiness. The family tree of deities will first be smal and then grow. The population of the kingdom of deities will be very small. It will be called the World of Immortality.
