There are many songs from Tarja era that I wouldn't like to hear from Anette. This is one of them. A siren is a mesmerizing voice, Anette has a very good rock voice, just not a mesmerizing voice, just my opinion. She has done many of the older songs excellently though in her defense.

Tarja didn't do jack shit in Nightwish except sing. Now while she had a good voiceit was Tuomas, Emmpu, Jukka, and Marco that do all of the real work. Every song is Tuomas's. Every note, every, chord, every word is his. If you listen to Tarja now her music is just bland without the boys behind her. Annette can and will sing TUOMAS'S songs. If you don't like it then sit down and shut the fuck up you stupid dick. Annette is now the singer and Tarja will NEVER come back. Nightwish will frever live

when i went to my first nightwish concert i have only listened to highest hopes & dark passion play.

i never new the siren and when i heard it it was like a dream, it was soooo beautiful!!!!!

i loved it!!!

then i finally found the song with tarja (since it is different.. anette sings 'yaaaiaaa' and tarja 'HA HA HA' [..])

and i did not really like it.. it sounded not that good. but still good!

now i accept both ;-)

anette is a great singer!!
