  • why not a ford? they have a very sophisticated hybrid system that they are rolling out..might even be better than Prius'

  • Ever since Alan Mulally took over Ford, I've been impressed. Also, remember, that Ford, Honda and Toyota are the only companies that have their own advanced Hybrid technology. Ford developed its hybrid drivetrain by itself but poor management never thought to actually use it in its lineup.

Also Ford has teamed up with Microsoft so I'm sure that pretty display was engineered by Microsoft.

Overall, I'm very impressed by Ford recently. Too bad the same isn't true for Chrystler and GM.

  • I obviously meant the dashboard not the rest of the car. However a nascar is safer then most cars period.

  • Obviously there's little room to be drawn from a 4-door midsize sedan in comparison with a NASCAR. How about we go ahead and forgo the airbags too? I mean, the NASCAR doesn't haven't have them. Side beams? Air conditioning? Stereo? Nah, all nedless...

  • No incredibly sick of cars that don't have proper instrumentation. All that electronic dash stuff usually malfunctions. There's room for proper gauges instead of a lightshow. Obviously you haven't looked in a nascar dashboard no speedo but everything else. Lights can burn out.

  • Wow, you're incredibly dumb.

  • I'll agree with you on that one. Volkswagens are known to be bad after 3years. Well equipped but reliability good be an issue. Keep loving fords as they seem to be getting better.

  • I LOVE fords, but I have to disagree. People go to the Japanese Market to buy cars because American Cars arent as reliable as japs. American Cars are a whole lot more reliable than German Cars though!

  • I agree they are trying to make better cars but I think they are almost to late. Oil pressure gauge is a better idea then an idiot light which could burn out. I bought a jap car in 06 simply because I was tired of the crap the big 3 were making. If I were buying now I might consider the big 3 to put money in Canada too. They were going to shut the Oshawa plant down but that may not happen YET. The Big 3 have a lot to learn about building a quality and reliable cars. I've waited 30 yrs so far.

  • The oil pressure gauge on 99% of modern cars is a glorified idiot light....and why would anyone buy a Jap car and send our money back to Japan, when GM and Ford are making decent cars that keep our money here in the US?

  • Wow! Nice! Lookout Toyota, Nissan and, Honda!!! ;-)
