I brought back the Cellar in Ft. Worth in 1998 on W Berry but it was never like the old Cellar.

. My father being the clubs attorney and friend of Pat Kirkwood. I remember at around age 8, my dad would take my brother and myself to the club with our Cellar shirts on and let us run amok. I also remember being paid $5 to play drums with the now ZZ Top and had to play standing up, too short to sit on the stool. Later in life (1980) played drums in my own band "The Ejectors", check out the song "Hydrohead" on Youtube. My cousin who lives in Long Beach opened up The Cellar, in tribute.

It was a place in time that can never happen again.It's where i got hooked on live music.So glad someone is documenting this.Glad i got to be there!
John has been ill, so we've had a difficult time getting together. He will be in the final cut. I've done several new interviews, including Bugs.

There is a screening of the feature-lenght film at the FW Downtown Public Library Sunday, November 21st at 2:00 followed by a panel discussion. Hope you can be there!
