Another #1 hit for The Godfather of Soul on the Rhythm & Blues charts. It was the 303rd #1 R&B song of the Rock Era. It hit #31 on the Top 40 charts. This would be James Brown's last #1 hit on any chart, though he would continue on making hits. Sadly, on December 25, 2006, Christmas Day, the Hardest Working Man in Show Business left us. James, where do I start? You gave it your all every time out. And you held your head high, despite your trials. We will NEVER forget you.
