This album is her best work so far, the lyrics are powerful and the production is awesome! I don't believe in god & I'm 15 years old but I love the religious symbolism tbh.
By the waypray for spanish eyes & like a virgin are the best songs on the album, good job M.
I can't understand why didn't win a grammy! tbh, they have made wrong choices a lot of times, anyway, it doesn't need an grammy to prove that is her best work.

This HAS to be one of her best, if not THE best Madonna album. Shocking that the recording academy did not recognize this accomplishment. Not surprised. She was and still is ahead of everyone else and they feared her. When I first saw the LIKE A PRAYER video I was 17 and didn't understand the controversy. Now in my late 30s I think "this bitch had some big fucking balls."

This song shows how tongue in cheek Madonna is. Standing at the gates of heaven demanding that she has a reservation is a great idea.
