International Space Station Commander Dan Burbank captured spectacular imagery of Comet Lovejoy as seen from about 240 miles above the Earth's horizon on Wednesday, Dec. 21. Today Burbank described seeing the comet two nights ago as "the most amazing thing I have ever seen in space," in an interview with WDIV-TV in Detroit.

  • i like how motherfuckers post the same video that has been watch a lot more times. thumb down.

  • between 0.08 and 0.10 there seems to be another comet ditching on the earth atmosphere

  • @U2HereY ...On orbit, if you are heading 90 degrees east toward the night terminator, you will see the sun 'rise' every 90 minutes or so. You get about 5 sunrise in a given day. What a way to mess up your body clock...!

  • When exactly does the "sun come up" in space? :)

  • Have to admit I'm jealous, what an amazing sight.

  • Thank you :)
