@TheWaZOO123 if you have got Canadian tire near you they got really durable skates
And cheap too
I wear the Bauer ignite 22 and it really holds up well
I'm 14 too and I just started playing last year

yes, you can. Follow manufacturers instructions.

should i wear one or two pairs of socks? i've been wearing two because i was told two help prevent blisters when skating a lot everyday but also that two pairs means your feet don't fit the boot as well as they should and cause the skates to not respond as well as they should.

It all about feel, therefore two pairs definitely overkill. If you are getting blisters, it means you have not been sized properly.
