THINKPAD T60, the last thinkpad to make a real impact....actually though, the Thinkpad T420 and T520 are pretty good.

Yeah, the lenovo logo was *so good* that I won't be buying any of them (it's a stupid logo, bland and boring; IBM had cool stripes with red green and blue signifying the first colour computer monitor they made).

Thinkpad quality has declined so much since the lenovo takeover, they are a cheap chinese company that sacked all of the original IBM employees. This is why you now have the "thinkpad edge", a cheap door mat. Get a thinkpad 701c.

Perhaps, but how many factories are there in India which produce processors? I think zero. The Core i series processors are all manufactured in the US, sure we can't produce much else ourselves, but hey that's one thing.

este tipo es indio o indu, no es chino, y lo del logo es solo marketing ... lo mas importante es ke estos chinos de m construyan las laps como lo hacian los gringos: fuertes y robustas. Las actuales crujen y se doblan con facilidad, el marco de mi Z60t se doblo en la esquina inferir izq y cuando le hice el upgrade de ram la tapa quedo descuadrada ... ta mare que regresen los gringos

Well, I wish they would have kept it the same instead of trying to "improve" the Thinkpad. The swiss cheese keyboard flexes like non other and the new bracing they installed does not help at all. They have a lousy supply chain with a 1 month wait between delivery and order date.

The keyboard is the defining factor of a thinkpad and they had to go and mess it up. Unforgivable.
