  • i live in Michigan

  • I'm glad you like my birds but I don't have need to sell at present. Many of my breeders are getting old & I'm building my stock for their passing. Also it requires a veternarian to cross border at around $600 + 45 day quaranteen & the nearest airport is 135 km away. This is the primary reason I don't sell my birds even in Canada is airport distance & I don't need the $. May I suggest Continental Breeding Station in U.S.

  • Very inspirational videos- I have two pair of homers and their babies are now 27 and 30 days old.

I am neverous about putting them out because there are no other birds to show them how to return into my loft. The adults I dont dare let go because they will go to their old home.

As youcan tell these are my first birds.

  • My experience has been that birds of 40 days do best. They are less likely to panic. Remember to call the 1st time they fly with gusto. Always call the same way when feeding right from egg & whistle shake can or blow your whistle. I call hungry, hungry babies, whistle & shake, then hurry up once on loft & whistle louder. Only feed inside. The 1st times get them in anyway you can door so on. I sometimes push them in hole with my pole. Never scare them off loft! Let them choose okay.

  • i have some racing pigeon i'm trying to make them pair up wat should i do put them together by them self

  • Not really needed, do you have other birds with them? Do you just want them & no others to pair? All they really need to get pairing is a nest bowl nailed up in a corner & nest material available, if you have not boxes. They will even lay in litter on the floor (not a good idea) are you sure you have cock & hen? The main thing is season. Depending on where you live they will be most active to pair in spring so for me now it is coming fall. For Australia coming spring.

  • hi tossdart i really like your pigeons

Do you have any pair for sell

and how much you sell tham

  • beautiful blue checks & blue bars

    very nice set up

  • If you have two hens you will get 4 eggs as a rule. If you have 4 eggs well ahemm since a Racing Homing Pigeon can only lay two you have two hens. Sometimes though one hen becomes such a cock in her mind she only forces the other to lay. If this is the case you need to get a cock from someone that knows what one looks & acts like. A hen can have a nose sere & wattles but the beak is as a rule thinner, the eye less angry, as well on bottom it looks a bit like you expect a hen to look, plump.
