It's so crazy. He knew Dave mustaine, and all of Metallica before they were even famous, got into a fist fight with dave mustaine, and was even friends with James since middle school...and after he quit he didn't become famous or anything. And he can say to his kids "yeah I was friends with the singer of Metallica when I was in school, and I got into a fistfight with the singer from megadeth" o_O fucking crazy!!

Ron Mcgoveny gets respect in my book, He played live with Metallica, recorded on the classic indi release No Life Till Leather & played on an official released 2nd pressing track for the metal massacre compilation track, Hit The Lights, along with Dave Mustaine, Lars Ulrich & James Hetfield pretty cool credentials if you ask me, I respect the entire music history of Metallica but still not a fan of the load & some kind of monster era but all the members get respect, Rock on Ron:/

@wowkidification He quit music. After Metallica he only played in one band, Phantasm, who only recorded one demo, and the split. There demo is somewhere on here. They split around 88 I think.
