The Verizon team put its latest technology to work at the Elks lodge in Massachusetts. The highest upstream and downstream speeds are a reality, and you can see how it all works. What does it mean for you? Downloading movies in seconds and streaming video with little to no delay. How will you use it? Tell us in the comments!

  • I am From LeTourneau University in Longview, TX. I would like one of these connections for my school. currently my school only allows me to download 1GB per day. this would be a great test site for verizon. :)

  • 475 * 8 = 3.8 GB/ps of rate transfer in a 192.168.101.1 local network (poor). This can't be used to demonstrate the speed of the connection. Please use real hosts instead ;-)

  • I have 64kbps Plan!

  • @SIrPuddins You'd think with the $20,000+ they get in tuition from each student, they'd have better internet access.

  • Linux FTW

  • Coming to my school Detroit Country Day School,in Bloomfield Hills, MI would be a great idea. The internet that we are running on right now is so slow that it takes several minutes for a 10 minute youtube video to begin playing. Having faster speeds would help a lot of our teachers and students alike. Or if your looking for a more residential area, I live in a very closely packed Birmingham neighborhood where you could run it through our systems. Pleases if you are interested PM me!!

  • cool you download a movie in 4 Seconds

  • and the service only cost 50k a year! dont doubt it

  • @dinnerandashow your comment makes no sense... You're the one who assumed that was the case. I simply reminded you that one youtube clip isn't a representation of an industry... let alone corporate america. I work for corporate america... if i were to make a comment as simplistic as yours, i would assume the opposite...

[i think a little civility is warranted...] i don't wish to assume anything negative about you...

  • @beenn15

What makes your tiny brain think that people who saw this video began and ended their life here.

Incredible stupidity, yet able to use a computer to troll.

  • @dinnerandashow you saw 4 people in a youtube clip and suddenly that's a representation of corporate america? what's wrong with people?

  • @zkennedy80 Compression is always used when bringing video to the mainstream, no where near that 24gb/s is gonna be transferred
