More flexibility in the job market will help companies to attract high-quality staff and keep costs down, according to one expert.

Speaking to the BBC, Keith Dugdale, of accountancy firm KPMG, says that firms will be looking at more flexible working patterns.

More creative ways of working and different types of contracts are likely to be offered according to Dugdale. This could mean more contract and temporary positions will be available.

Figures released last month by the IT Job Board suggest the IT contactor market will see a boost in recruitment this year.

More than half of industry professionals said in the report that demand for freelancers will rise in 2010, in comparison to permanent positions.

To cope with the increased demand of umbrella services Excellium has appointed new experienced team members to provide our customers with the highest service levels available.
