Jean Harlow is immortal because she was unpretentious- a complete natural. But even she would have admitted second billing in any scene with the marvellous scene stealer, Marie Dressler.

I've always thought Jean was a natural. Funny, sweet and without pretense. I wonder how she would have aged, had she not have died so young? Would she have been as funny as a character actress like Billie Burke, also from DINNER AT EIGHT?

Yeah... fashion does crazy things to lady's brows! I see girls doing similar tings to their brows today... it is weird! So is burning all the color out of your hair! Even worse, burning streaks in your hair!

You know I'm still not convinced that she's comparing her bracelet to Jean's. She's looking at her own bracelet, not looking at Jean.

Just like she did that exaggerated stop when Harlow mentioned reading a book, I think she was very animatedly noticing her bracelets because she was telling us, the viewers comically, that she's got big rocks! Again, that "silent movie" style of acting.
