  • You do what my guitar teacher tells me not to do. You rest your little finger on the pickguard (i believe thats its name). I still prefer to do that, seems easier, but apparantley it is better to get used to playing without.

  • @AngelsWithSpears I've got loads of bad habits, notibly that when finger picking I physically can only use the first two fingers on that. hand, but then mind you, that's all Chuck Berry used 2 do.Not bad considering I've not had a lesson though in the 14 years I've been playing I don't think though. ;) lol I don'y buy in to lessons when music is concerned.,It does improve your technical ability no doubt, but it's about feelings. When was the last time you saw someone who was taught how to feel? ;)

  • I think this is not his voice...

  • @nyesnye no of course it's not my voice and neither is it my voice on the other 75 videos you douche

  • @hardings930

SO TRUE BRO OU ROCK THIS SONG MAN

  • There is only one reason why you should never play with fingers resting on the pick guard/scratchplate....... That is because it makes it a habit to get out of when it comes to needing those fingers for a finger picking style arrangement, On the other hand tho....... This is played very nicely with just the 2. This guy is just proof of how versatile the guitar can be. If you feel right using 2 fingers and the tune can be played then do that if not then play your way.

  • Where did you find your tab at???

  • play back

  • @AngelsWithSpears

you'll find that no matter how often these teachers tell you not to do things like that, you'll probably end up doing it anyway. It just makes it easier and more comfortable. But they do hold a valid point, if you can manage to keep all the bad habits out of your way, you'll be a far better guitarist in the long run :)

  • You should use your others fingers..It would be easier.

  • watch?v=i86UcYedm9o watch my version :D
