My student, Jarron Speller, has placed infrared proximity sensors on his Mouse robot and programmed it to follow a black line. Furthermore, he wrote code for a light sensor (voltage divider board with solar cell) which turns on and off an LED headlight according to lighting conditions. Robodyssey Systems manufactures the Mouse robot, RAMB II motherboard, IR Prox sensors, and voltage divider board (VDB) you see here. The robots brain is NetMedias BX-24 microcontroller, which is programmed using the BasicX language. I am the author of the worlds only BasicX textbook; if you are interested in learning how to program your own robot, see my website at www.basicxandrobotics.com.
