@tokunisikinaikatei Yes, they're permanently installed. That's kinda know-how of the Elbrus anti-avalanche squad, and makes them proud since they have experience to slide down avalanche from the single shot. And that's definitely not easy, at least according to the Montgomery Atwater's book "The Avalanche Hunters". Also, there's no other stationery systems installed, like Gazex etc - these ~10 cannons are the only and efficient way against avalanches there.
