This is a promotional video for the Sega Saturn. It is from 1995 and is a mish mash of jarring confusing images that the marketing people must have thought would make the system "cool". It's a cross breed between Fellini, Lynch, and The Spin Doctors. Also, the video ends with the "Theater of The Mind" ad campaign that ran on tv.

  • These were likely the coolest damn' commercials to 1995 stoners.

  • Well, most people that see this are too young to remember the way MTV effected the youth of America in the late 80's. This was the appeal they were trying to have, that fast, flashy 90's MTV liquid television style of television.

  • 0_o weird...

  • God damn Sega and your weird ads... You make Sony seem sane.

  • :) Elements from Super Sonic Racing in Sonic Generations :)

    SEGA SATURN rulez ;)

  • Yelawolf in this bitch!

  • The future is the 3ds not the sega saturn but still cool though. Go sonic r!!!!

  • It looked pretty cool. Then the guy in the red hat showed up.

  • @johneymute that's true for back then but now the use of 3 or more processors is common to the point where it's emulators work better then the ones for the n64 even thought their open source. SSF is made by 1 guy and has full compatibility with all the top games. the n64 people can't even get pkmn snap to work right see EX:watch?v=eEC02hp90vQ . what really killed it was the price if they had used cheaper parts that were more common it would have sold better and much easyer to develope for.

  • everybody's super sonic racing
