Combien de murs - the fall of the Berlin Wall

Some days ago, a friend asked me to tell him about the fall of the Berlin Wall in 1989. For better illustration I made this small clip. You may ask, for which reason I've chosen for this topic French music. In 1993 I spent my summer holidays in France and there I was on a concert of Patrick Bruel. Before he sang "Combien de murs", he spoke about the fall of the Berlin Wall, the German reunification and dedicated this song to this great historical event. Thenceforward I connect this song with my memories to that time.

BTW - You also see it on one of the pics: there have been so called "Mauerspecht(e)" (Mauer - wall; Specht - woodpecker) ... people, who hacked at the wall after the border crossings were opened, mostly to take a piece of it as a souvenir (or several to sell them to tourists as souvenirs).

I've seen that amazing Patrick Bruel concert when it was broadcasted on tv and videorecorded it. Ofcourse I can't play it anymore and for a long time searching for video's from the concert but can only find 1 video, not even audio recordings. So anybody who has it please let me know ?!?

Cette chanson me donne des frissons chaque fois que je l'écoute... Pourtant je la connais par coeur...
