Christmas 1979, I'm 11 years old living in Tampa Bay. I had just gotten my copy of KC & The Sunshine Band's "Please Don't Go" and loved it. Later that night I turn on Q105 to hear the NEW Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers single, "Refugee".

I don't know where that KC record went but I'm on my 8th copy of Damn The Torpedoes.
