  • I know this is an old question so you have probubly already got the answer but the trains were bought second-hand from an advert and not built to order.

  • I was there! - quite a large traction show on this occasion and my first sighting of the railway since Emma Peel was tied to the track. Missed it this year due to a clash of dates. Thanks Glen!

  • stapleford, i dunno if you can answer this for me or not. what made the former owner of the railway want to build two american locomotives, being the New York Central Niagara, and the Nickel Plate Road Berkshire locomotive. for some reason i see that the british have taken a liking to our locomotives. and i find it cool and weird at the same time.

  • Nice video of our railway whoever posted it. God makes me feel old. We have grass growing now at the tunnel!!

see our website google "fsmr" We are open again August BH weekend 26th 27th 2007

  • i like the style of that concrete tunnel

  • Memories of the old country.
