"Righteous Courtship" - Part Two (Pursuing After Godliness)

A very important message for all Christians, whether single, courting, engaged, or married. Friends, we must pursue after godliness and honor God in all our relationships. Marriage is not an emotional experiment based on infatuation or feelings. Marriage is a holy committment by two Christians to love one another unselfishly and stay true to their vows! Godly marriages will produce godly parents who will have a desire to raise their children to reverence the Lord and love Him above all things. Ask yourself, "Am I ready for marriage?" If you are married, is your marriage a godly marriage? If you're single, ask yourself, "What are my reasons for wanting to get married? Are they biblical?" Are you courting someone who is not a godly person??

Marriage is not a game you play! It is a holy committment, a holy union, a pledge of devotion, and loyalty between a man and a woman whose first love is Jesus Christ.!!!

Marriage is a holy commitment between the man, woman and God. It is not complete without God at center. I've heard before(and shamefully admit I fell for) the line someone says, "I am not complete without you" Word of advice, if anyone ever says that line to you...run!!! ..because they won't be complete with you either. If someone tells you they are not complete without you they are saying God is not at center if at all in their life. Remember, in Christ, you are complete.

Sometimes it seems right. But it isnt. One must pay strict attention to every word and deed spoken or done by one they deem te be attractive for them. Attractiveness is quite a hollow word really..........it means or should mean so much more than what the eye beholds. If one is *loved* for one's appearance, then one should question if it is deeper than this or not, before acting (marrying). appearances are shallow. Truth, is far harder te find

I pray everyone is so blessed as to find their spiritual spouse.

Does anyone have any advice on getting married without applying for a license?I do not want to get into contract with the state or gov.I want my marriage to be founded& based on GOD not corporate agendas
