On September 28, 2010, Governor Chris Christie hosted a town hall meeting on Old Bridge, New Jersey to discuss his proposed reform of the state's education system. Over 200 people were present in the Richard Allen Cooper Civic Center to hear the governor's presentation, which concluded with a question and answer period.
In this part, Mr. Christie fields questions from the audience. The first question concerned the pension system and sick time; the second question involved school choice in suburban districts; the third question involved reduction of the number of school districts in the state along with educator compensation.
