Rosa Stella Nardari passed away on Feb 23th 2012(yesterday) at the age of 113 years and 62 days. So now, at the 10th place there are Tome Takaoka and Hina Shikawatari, were born on Jan 1st 1899 :)

Nice video. I keep track of supercentenarians since 2006. Names Emiliano Mercado del Toro, Julie Bertrand, Emma Tillman, Yone Minagawa, Edna Parker or Maria de Jesus ring any bell? Last to die was Maria de Jesus on Jan 2. 2009. This is actually really sad thing, but intriguing. With death of Frederica Sagor Maas this month, Dr. Leila Denmark is officially the last living person among the oldest I knew of since fall 2006, when I started research. I wish her good health and as much more years.
