well it should be easier to clean the sensor as it is so accessible. Anyway given the lack of dedicated lenses it is unlikely you will be taking the kit lens off.

The price cannot cheap because of the high quality electronic viewfinder that is liquit cristal on silicon (not a usual LCD) design coming from Panasonic pro camcorders. It's the first ever use of this kind of a viefinder in a consumer products.

How are you liking the camera so far? I'm still deciding.. I really like the look of it.. but I'm not sure.. I'm kind of concern about its battery life though.. can you write back telling me more about the camera please? Thanks.
what would happen if you got a finger print on the sensor?

you'd be pretty screwed but i can't think of a reason why you'd want to stick your hand in there. You can get cleaning kits but it can prove tricky.
