[BrawlHacks][MeowMix Guides] Using 3DS Max 2009 2010 to Preview SSBB Model Textures

This is another addition to the series of MeowMix Video Tutorials for editing and modifying Super Smash Brothers Brawl. Team MeowMix (http://teammeowmix.co.cc) is a dedicated team at modifying brawl to look good so you can enjoy yourself.

Today's lesson covers 3DS Max 2009 and 2010, a method for viewing your character in 3DS Max in order to preview your textures that you may be creating for characters. This is useful if you want to savor your Wii's lifespan, or just don't have the time to boot up your Wii everytime you make a tiny subtle change on your texture.

Before you begin, be sure you have measured up to the following:

-- You need 3DS Max 2009 or 2010 (2008 may work, untested).

.::WHAT YOU NEED OFF THAT PAGE::.
-Character DAEs for 3ds Max/Blender
-ASH_3me + Collada Max Plugin**

**This is optional. If you're a windows XP user, you MIGHT need to download that Collada Max Plugin, and install it in order to view your model in 3DS Max. I haven't needed it when I worked on XP, but only as long as I followed the steps in the video.

I need help downloading the ssbb iso file. I burn it to a disk and nothing happens. I don't get the files on the disk. can you send me a pm on a tutorial on downloading ssbb iso. thanks.

The ISO of ssbb is not needed for any of this. Please visit our website to find out how to so this via the SD card instead of burning an entire new disk.

This Video does'nt mean that people will put it to good use though. People wont reinsert the model after Just some Slight tinkering.

What are you talking about? You can't re-insert the model of course. This is for viewing TEXTURES on your model. --_____--

u failure this is just viewin textures in a VERY complicated way, u can easily place the files in there corrrspoding folder and click power on your wii u duck.....

I want to get Shadow's model, which is different from Sonic's, and I have its texture and motionetc.pac. Are there tools to get yourself the DAE and the textures? Please, answer me.

don't be confused by this but i was making a game in unity and was going to use mario,of all people,to be the main character.i tried to insert the isis texture and it has the iris but the rest of the eye is black.how do i fix this?
