Your quote, "Life does not happen because of you". "Life happens inspite of you". Is absolute truth and very comforting. Because, I'm going though some external problems from my past because of bad karma. And before hearing today's video, I said to myself in 100 years or less. My worries would be irrevalant. I have moved on, but I cannot do anything about things that are not in my control. Thanks my friend for your explantion.

Also, using malas/beads to chant is only one way. There are practictioners who does not use it or any counting device and thus does not worry/guilt about not doing a specific number. They just chant as much as they can within their means and devotion. But I do admire and respect his own belief that mantra does not help based on his own 10 years of mantra chanting. At least he is speaking from his own experience.

Thanks for the video. It's very inspiring. But I dont really understand why he says mantra "does not help" at around 24:30. That is a very very strong statement. So many great sages and saints have emphase on the importance and usefulness of mantra/japam. Mantra can still a mind. He proves the "not helping" by describing what happens in *some* practitioners distracted mindset when practicing. But these examples does not represents what happens to all other successful mantra practitioners.

think of a glass of pure siberian lake water with no arsenic trioxide, sodium flouride (unnatural aluminium byproduct/brain cancer), pesticides, methyl mercury, copper, lead and chlorine! All these poisons are in our drinking water! Dont drink tap water! Buy a Water Distiller, Reverse Osmosis or Atmospheric Water Generator!

Swamiji asks to create a thought of drinking water when u are haunted by fear/depression. When u have too much fear /depression, u ll not have control over mind. In such situation, you need to create thoughts like sipping water whenever the fear thought comes and keep repeating it till the frequency reduces Later when u r reasonably free from fear/depression, you can start unclutching. Also keep listening to this precious video as many times, clicks will hapeen in different dimentions.

The more I think about this talk, the more confusing and contradictory it becomes. He states that unclutching is resting from intentionally creating, maintaining, or trying to end a thought. However, throughout the talk, as an example of unclutching, he talks about intentionally creating the thought of a glass of water to replace unpleasant thoughts. This contradicts what he said unclutching is, because it uses intention. I wish he could add some clarity to this.

At 39:00 Swamiji says try to unclutch, if your balance sheet doesn't increase just forget about him and his technique, he really means it. Logically, you would think that if you un-clutch, your balance would goes down or becomes non-existent lol...I tried his technique of un-clutching, and I can't believe, it is as he said. There's nothing to worry about.

dear swamiji, if da prarabtha has all the capacity to live 'life' and function beyond the 'disillusioned', 'independent' ego.... what is the purpose of this earthly drama....isn't it like me playing all six players on monopoly...
You say we have only one thought at a time.
If that thought is a worry, you say unclutch.
What if that thought is creative, an idea of some sort? Do we not unclutch? Are you saying to unclutch from all thoughts or only the ones that are related to suffering? It would then seem that we "choose" which thoughts to dwell on and which thoughts to discard. But once you also said that bliss is choicelessness. I am confused. Do I renounce the need to understand?

Swamiji tells us just as we remove our coat when we come into the house, the same way we use the thoughts to do whatever is required and when we are done, just drop it just as we drop the coat. He always tells us that chhronological planning is perfectly alright, but psychological worrying is not. If you want to go after a creative thought, fine, but do not be clutched to it after you are done expressing your creativity.

We have tried multiple times. The video plays well on the computer but repeatedly when it is processed there is a lip sync. We are thinking it is some issue at You Tube side. We have reported this problem to You Tube and hope it will be corrected.
