What they're saying is like blaming the vodka company for you crashing yourself while your driving drunk. Parents need to pay attention and escalators need to be redesigned.

LMAO and listen to this lawyer, "crocs are not safe for everyday use" wtf is wrong with people? yeah pick your feet up on the escalator. I mean PICK YOUR FEET UP geez. I bet flip flops pose an even greater risk, but since no one manufacturer exclusively makes flip flops you can't sue. I hope these people don't get a dime from the Croc makers.

@SuperMuffinMan777 There have been more injuries on escalators involving Flip-Flops and Tennis Shoe strings. People need to pick up their feet, read the warning sighs, and maybe even rethink the design of the escalator, not the shoe.
