Team Up
Every Team Needs a Shirt

As everyone knows, this year is a World Cup Year in South Africa and 180 is currently immersed in making the adidas campaign for Africas first ever World Cup. But as well as developing work for the worlds most famous players,180 set out to help some of the worlds least privileged teams where the idea of playing ball together is purely a passion and a way to build friendships. Because every team, no matter how big or small, needs a shirt to play in.

We love leveraging players like Lionel Messi to superstar status. But what we also want to do is to help the players that no one has ever heard about. said Andy Fackrell ECD at 180 Amsterdam. So we have used our World Cup expertise to try to support some of the smallest teams based in the country hosting the 2010 World Cup.

So Richard Bullock, 180s ex-ECD and friend of the agency went over and asked the kids from the Chintsa East Primary and Bulugha Farm School in South Africa to create some team logos for a set of shirts to play in. Then our football team gave their concept a bit of 180 finessing. The result is a set of brand new, shiny adidas football kits custom made by 180 Amsterdam and the young Bulugha and Chintsa designers.

180 Amsterdam and 180 Los Angeles.
Proud sponsors of the Chintsa East Primary and the Bulgha Farm School football teams.
