Early November on the Trenton and Morrisville Lines: 11/8-11/12/2011

Continuing where we left off in Part one with November 8th at Woodbourne...

11:19 PM -
Q418-08 power comes east to the east end of Woodbourne Yard, where they will back in to begin work. A rather nice lash-up in the form of CSX C40-8 7621 and CSX CW40-8 7830 is for power, with the engineer on 7621 sounding it's rather nice K5LA horn a good amount.

11:37 AM -
With the engineer shoving the train out in the 2795, C770-08 moves out of Woodbourne Yard onto the Trenton Subdivsion, where they will continue west to Nabisco, with CSX GP38-2 2795 facing west and CSX GP40-2 4408 facing east.

12:16 PM -
Q418-08 chugs eastbound out of Woodbourne Yard with CSX C40-8 7621, CSX CW40-8 7830, and now CSX GP40-2 6130 powering the train. 6130 was a Woodbourne resident since August, and we were glad to see it go!

1:18 PM -
Two pieces of CSX MOW Equipment head west to work around CP Nesh.

3:22 PM -
C770-08 returns east from Nabisco, and backs into Woodbourne Yard....

3:55 PM -
After originally being put into Woodbourne Yard to hold for Q409-08 and Q439-08, a change of plans occured, and Q706-08 comes east off the yard lead with CSX CW40-9 9043 running solo.

5:14 PM -
It's getting dark now as Q409-08 roars westbound through Woodbourne with CSX SD70AC 4818 and CSX C40-8 7628 for power.

5:23 PM -
Following closely behind Q409-08 is Q439-08 with CSX ES40DC 5331 and CSX CW40-8 7807 for power.

6:29 PM -
SEPTA Train 380 heads eastbound to West Trenton with Silverliner V's 813, 814, 815 and 816.
380 - Elwyn, PA - West Trenton, NJ

9:28 PM -
Q301-08 heads westbound with the power from Q300-08 earlier in the day (previous video), except now CSX ES40DC 5394 leads and CSX C40-8 7642 trails.

Four days later, on November 12th, we're back out at Woodbourne...

9:19 AM -
After finishing their work at Woodbourne, Q300-12 throttles up eastbound with CSX SD50-2 8667 and CSX AC44CW 465 for power. Always nice to see an ex Conrail SD50 leading a train.

10:51 AM -
Q418-08 crawls east out of Woodbourne Yard with CSX C40-8 7502, CSX AC44CW 458, and CSX GP38-2 2648 powering the heavy train.

11:10 AM -
24K glides east on the Morrisville Line with NS CW40-9 9335 and NS SD70 2514 elephant style.
24K - Rutherford, PA - Morrisville, PA Intermodal

12:38 PM -
SEPTA Train 4324 moves east up track one with Silverliner III's 223 and 239. Soon after, K531-12 rips around the curve with CSX AC44CW's 38 and 537, both bright futures for power of this loaded Bauxite train.

1:57 PM -
After receiving an advanced heads-up, we head to a new location, just west of CP Fairless Junction for CSX Train C964-12. C964-12 heads eastbound towards Woodbourne Yard with CSX GP40-2 4412 running long hood forward, two flatcars, SEPTA Silverliner V 719, and two more flatcars. The 719 would be dropped in Woodbourne Yard and would be exhanged with SEPTA via C770 sometime that coming Week.

2:30 PM -
14G drifts lazily east towards Morrisville with NS SD60M 6765 and NS ES40DC 7537 as the power.

2:41 PM -
Q439-12 kicks up leaves as it heads west with CSX ES40DC 5270 and CSX AC60CW 645 for power.

4:47 PM -
Q034-03 gets back up to speed eastbound with CSX SD70AC 4825, CSX AC44CW 427, and CSX C40-8 7546 pulling a hefty intermodal.

4:51 PM -
After dropping off the Silverliner, and shifting the yard, C964-12 runs lite out the east end of the yard with CSX GP40-2 4412 once again, before proceeding westbound back to Philly.

7:14 PM -
Q703-12 moves westbound under the moonlight with CSX ES44AH 816 and CSX AC44CW 393 pulling the green half a mile.

7:48 PM -
Q706-12 heads eastbound with CSX CW40-9 9043 once again.
