  • that chick must really dig you to drive around town playing with walkie talkies for your vid

  • @Doggieman1111 This one was her idea! :)

  • I`m a wedding videographer. Wold this be good for indoor use

  • @jasonwilton42 the signal for this radio passed through nearly 150 homes. I don't think you'll have a problem with indoor use. :)

  • My experience with the back woods range was more than expected. I was able to get an approximate range of 3/4 mile with little static. I did find that the antenna direction made a HUGE difference. I had to hold the antenna straight up and down to get anything. When I held it sideways I got nothing. Not even static. But holding straight up and down the reception was crystal clear. I hope this helps with your range tests in the future! Good luck!

  • @AdkWoody Thanks for the advice!!! during the next test, these radios will be as vertical as possible then!

  • hey how do you make it switch cams

  • hi is it hard to push in the talk button ?my old midland is hard to hold in the talk button. thank you for the help

  • Y didint u pet da cat =(

  • Two way radio is never accurate in its range there are two many factors...try this you have 3 men one on a mountain top and two either side. The man on the top can talk to both men below, but the men on either side cannot talk to each other. The higher you are the better, there is also the curvature of the earth after six miles this affects radio signals.

  • If you could make an external antenna for it on the roof you could probably talk to the whole city on the worst conditions maybe further.

  • The steel on the bridge created a better ground plane for the radio. Anyways thanks for posting this video as I just bought this set of radios myself and am planning to take a walk and test the distance myself. But right now it's -10 degrees celcious here in Winnipeg so I may wait til summer LOLO.

    Take Care

    Dave

  • Thanks..good review

  • The best review I found so far, your video really shows what these radios are capable to transmit on a realistic scenario. Thank so much this help a lot for others who like me are looking to get some walkie talkies.
