Pokemon Stadium 2 - Earl's Pokemon Academy Gym Leader Class VS School Kid Nolan

This is the final pinnacle of the Gym Leader Class! I fight School Kid Nolan who specializes in raising special defenses with the moves light screen and barrier. This battle is basically a duplicate against Picknicker Cyndy in the Trainer Class.

How do I get this star?
Lets go back to the basics, shall we? Special attacks will weaken if special defense stats increased, however that does not mean that the opponent's regular defenses are increased because light screen and barrier do not increase regular defense stats! That means that the opponent is still prone to physical attacks. I suggest abusing that weakness to your advantage if you want the final star. Now that you beat this kid, congratulations! Now go get your hard-earned, well-deserved medal. The Elite Four Class is much tougher than this so you need to be more focused.
