I learned this tune back in college in the late 70's. It was written by Arvid Smith. I hadn't played the tune much since those early days. But when I got my Larrivee Baritone I was digging through old reptertoire to find tunes that could work on this guitar. I discovered that this tune took on a whole new life in that bass register. I hope you like it.
By the way, Arvid still performs in the Florida area in a twosome called Tammerlin ( http://www.tammerlin.com/ ), so if you're ever down that way, be sure to look for his shows.
Lucky you! I'm sure it's very hard to come by. There's another tune in that book that can be made to sound like one of those old crank style record players. As the spring wound down the record would slow down, the tune can be made to sound just like that. A lot of fun with audiences who remember them.
